Asker C is a hardness scale used to measure materials that are harder than those measured in a needle penetration test and softer than those for a JIS A durometer.
What is Shore C hardness?
Shore C Hardness Scale measures medium medium rubbers up to hard plastics. Shore D Hardness Scale measures hard rubbers, semi-rigid plastics and hard plastics. Generally, the rubbers are on the low end of the scale, while the hardest plastics receive the highest Shore D ratings.
